Amanda Hill was born in Toronto, Ontario in 1973. In 1997 she studied at Basic Inquiry studio in Vancouver, BC. and the following year she attended The Art Center in Toronto. Daughter of James Hill, a well known Canadian illustrator, Amanda is mainly a self taught artist. She has exhibited her work at The Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition in the years 2000-2006 where she won 'Best Painting' awards in the years 2001, 2003 and 2005. Hill was the recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshield's award in 2002. She has exhibited her work in Toronto, Hamilton and the Kawartha Lakes region. |
