Amy Friend was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She lived in Toronto for several years where she studied at the Ontario College of Art and Design before embarking on intermittent travels through Europe, Morocco, and Cuba. Amy holds a BFA Honors and BEd degree from York University and an MFA Degree from the University of Windsor. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, most recently at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana and in Camaguey, Cuba. She is currently teaching in the Department of Fine Arts at Brock University. |
