Originally from St-Hyacinthe, Québec, Emilie Rondeau now lives and works in Rivière-Ouelle, Québec. For her graduate studies at NSCAD University, she received the Harrison McCain Scholarship in memory of Marion McCain. Rondeau received a Bachelor of Fine Art with great distinction from Concordia University in 2004, with a major in Painting and Drawing and a minor in Print Media. She was a national laureate of the Canada millennium Scholarship Foundation excellence award program from 2000 to 2004. Rondeau's work has been exhibited in Montreal, Toronto, Santa Fe, Albuquerque and Halifax.
