Jennifer’s bold, acrylic paintings of fields and watery shorelines are impressionistic in style, filled with light contrasts, energetic brushwork and sensitive colour. Her paintings display the visual structure of the Canadian landscape with an intrigue of colour, texture and effects of light. They possess a sense of energy in gesture, and mood; creating an opportunity for the viewer to experience an emotional connection to the landscape. Jennifer is a Canadian acrylic painter who lives in Vancouver, BC. She has self-directed her art education attending classes and workshops through Emily Carr University of Arts and Design, the Federation of Canadian Artists and studying with local and international instructors. Jennifer has also received a BA in Contemporary Dance from Simon Fraser University and a diploma in Graphic Design.
