"Working within a narrative framework, my practice considers the conditions of desire, both the murmurings of regret and the longing for the future. Not unlike the relationship between the author and her reader, the work is emotionally weighted, engaging the viewer on an intimate level. As a Toronto based artist, my expression is often Canadian in nature, from the idea of north and the wilderness, to the aesthetics of the sublime."
