Paul Semkuley, of re:source lifestyles, lives in an art filled condo in the sky, with partner Ian Swan. It was refreshing to see the unconventional way much of the art was hung in their space. Whether a piece was placed up high (above a mirror or bed frame), in an eclectic grouping in the bedroom, or against shimmering dark mica fleck wallpaper in the powder room, it was clear that art is a major focus.

I would define my personal style as Modern Luxe; a mix of modern and contemporary with traditional elements that ground a space. I think it's important to have traditional elements in all spaces as it gives a nod to history without being too stuffy. When working with clients, I encourage new ideas and elements with their existing collection of furniture and accessories, without making it my space. I create new style with their own style. It's all about the client. I make sure that it works and flows together .
